Boom Truck Driver / Warehouse Team Member

Position: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Load trucks, make deliveries and pickups at customer and vendor locations, ensuring safety and compliance with laws and policies.
  • Drive the EMCO truck safely, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
  • Pick customer orders, load trucks, and secure loads properly.
  • Complete pre-trip inspections and logbook entries.
  • Understand and handle shipping documents, including GHS labels.
  • Unload materials at delivery sites, obtain signatures, and resolve shipping discrepancies.
  • Support warehousing operations and other team activities as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid NS Boom Certification
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Experience in driving trucks and deliveries preferred
  • Class 3 Lift, Air Brakes, and TDG certifications
  • Knowledge of transportation laws and safety regulations
  • Strong customer service and relationship skills
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment safely

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with plumbing or building products
  • Proficiency in Trend, Word, Excel, Outlook
