Job summary

KIDS VALLEY DAYCARE & OSC is seeking a on-site bookkeeping professional to manage payroll, ledger maintenance, and financial reporting within a small team environment.

The role requires 1 year to less than 2 years of accounting experience and a College/CEGEP education. This position is strictly on-site with no remote work options.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting/ bookkeeping.
• Education: College/CEGEP in relevant field.
• On-site work only; no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• Post journal entries.
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
• Reconcile accounts.
