We’re growing and looking for a hands-on Bookkeeper to join our construction client! This newly created role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction or industrial environment and is confident handling full-cycle accounting and administrative duties.

What You’ll Do

70% Accounting Responsibilities :

  • Manage full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, payroll (approx. 24 employees), and collections
  • Handle bank reconciliations , invoicing, and payment tracking
  • Generate and maintain financial reports, assist with budgeting and account analysis
  • Ensure accuracy in financial records using Jonas accounting software and Excel
  • Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end processes

30% Administrative Support :

  • Handle union remittances and government filings
  • Support general administrative functions to keep the office running smoothly
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure financial and compliance needs are met
  • What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of bookkeeping / accounting experience in a construction or industrial setting
  • Excellent communication skills – confident and professional on the phone for collections and vendor / client coordination
  • Strong proficiency in Jonas accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience managing payroll and union-related remittances
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to support broader business operations
