Job description

We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations of our organization. You’ll ensure accurate recordkeeping, help maintain up-to-date ledgers, and support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.

This role provides critical support to the finance team, helping ensure that transactions are properly recorded, vendors are paid on time, and financial data is well-organized and audit-ready. You’ll bring consistency, organization, and a willingness to grow within a collaborative team.

What you’ll do

Support day-to-day bookkeeping tasks

  • Enter transactions into QuickBooks for general ledger accuracy
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Assist with categorizing expenses and posting journal entries
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation

Assist accounts payable and receivable

  • Record incoming payments and apply them correctly
  • Generate basic customer invoices and follow up on past-due balances
  • Process vendor bills and ensure timely payment in alignment with approval protocols

Support payroll and benefits tracking

  • Enter payroll journal entries and verify alignment with reports from payroll provider
  • Track employee reimbursements, PTO accruals, and deductions as needed

Collaborate on reporting and organization

  • Help prepare standard financial reports and spreadsheets
  • Support document collection for internal reviews or year-end filings
  • Maintain vendor and customer records in accounting software
