Salary Or Wage: $25 to $35 per hour

Job Type: Full Time

List of Requirements
  1. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks is essential
  2. Experience with CoConstruct software an asset
  3. Strong understanding of account analysis principles and practices
  4. Experience with budgeting processes and financial forecasting
  5. Knowledge of bank reconciliation procedures
  6. Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  7. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  9. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  10. High level of integrity and reliability in handling confidential financial information
  11. Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or completion of two years (first level) of a recognized professional accounting program (e.g., Chartered Accounting, Certified General Accounting) or courses in accounting or bookkeeping combined with several years of experience as a financial or accounting clerk are required
  12. A minimum of 3 years in bookkeeping or accounting roles
List of Duties
  1. Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll
  2. Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts timely and accurately
  3. Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and accounts
  4. Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial tracking through CoConstruct, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking
  5. Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, to assist in financial decision-making
  6. Assist in preparing for audits and managing tax-related responsibilities
  7. Track and report on project costs and profitability using CoConstruct data
  8. Maintain organized financial files and documentation for easy retrieval and auditing purposes
  9. Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and technology
