Qualifications

  • Experience handling multiple client files simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with clients.
  • High attention to detail and strong time management skills.

About the Role
The firm is looking to hire a Bookkeeper to join their team. In this role, you will manage the daily and monthly bookkeeping functions for a portfolio of clients. You'll be responsible for ensuring accuracy across transactions, client invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting. You'll work closely with the firm's President, clients, and your internal colleagues to maintain consistent and reliable financial reporting. After onboarding, the role will transition into a hybrid structure with 3 work-from-home days per week with 2 days in-office.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple legal clients
  • Process daily client and office account transactions
  • Complete bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow reports
  • Post journal entries and manage general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare and issue invoices; perform payment allocations and manage credit control
  • Support month-end and year-end processes and assist with management reporting
  • Liaise with clients, accountants, and software providers
