Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Kingston, ON
Compensation: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Flexible

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team in Kingston. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online and a solid understanding of bookkeeping practices. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day financial tasks to ensure accuracy in our records and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Match QuickBooks entries with source documents
  • Match EFTs (Electronic Funds Transfers) tickets to stubs
  • Prepare and send customer invoices
  • Enter accounts payable (AP) into QuickBooks
  • Process payroll accurately and on time
  • Prepare and record bank deposits
  • Generate collection agency notices when required
  • Charge credit cards and maintain transaction logs

Qualifications:

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online is required
  • Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or finance
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
