This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Compensation Range: $72,300-90,000 PLUS SALES INCENTIVE

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Director of Regional Sales, the Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be the primary interface with our customers. The TAM is directly responsible for developing and executing plans to meet current revenue goals, managing an existing customer base, while expanding and diversifying with new customers, driving specifications in the customer base, and positioning assigned accounts and individual territory for future growth. Revenue will consist of product and services sales to end users, value-added resellers, and distribution customers within the telecom, broadband, datacom, and renewable energy markets.

Home-based with frequent time at the office in Saint-Laurent Quebec.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve established revenue goals, strategize, and capture YoY territory revenue growth
  • Develop relationships with existing enterprise customers and channel partners
  • Support the installation of DC Power plants, BDFB’s, inverters, UPS, and DC Battery systems
  • Determine customer requirements, engage, collaborate, and drive internal resources to deliver
  • Prospect new channel partners, customers, and engineering consultants within assigned territory
  • Thoroughly understand customer requirements, and align with EnerSys products, services, and product managers
  • Support commissioning of DC power plants, inverters, and battery conductance readings, testing of system and equipment alarms
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve sales targets and goals
  • Attend trade shows and technical symposiums within assigned territory and occasionally at national events
  • Provide appropriate feedback to management on customer needs, competitive business practices, and other needed business activities within the territory
  • Maintain territory key interactions, opportunities, quotes, and sales pipeline in CRM software
  • Travel to customers no less than 60 percent of the time

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent trade training
  • 4 - 6 years of experience selling and managing similar products and solutions
  • Established high-level contacts in markets served is an asset
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned territory 3 to 4 days a week (50 – 75% travel)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in French and English
  • Excellent relationship development skills, commercial acumen, and presentation skills required
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Maintain details, well organized
  • Proven experience in power systems management and expertise in industrial DC battery technologies
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce would be an asset
