Job description

We have several employers seeking exceptional candidates to fill a variety ofBookkeeping . The positions will range from short term temporary, long term temporary and permanent hires for the right candidates.

The ideal candidates will be experienced in full-cycle bookkeeping, including processing payments, dealing with bank reconciliations, invoicing, data entry and all other general bookkeeping tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

  • Track and enter all financial transactions into accounting softwares such as Sage 50, Quickbooks, and QBO
  • Match and verify bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare financial statements and reports, such as income statements and balance sheets
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, including sending invoices
  • All other general tasks as required such as, filing, scanning and sorting paperwork

Education:

  • Post secondary education is an asset, but not a requirement

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
  • Experience working in Sage 50, Quickbooks or similar softwares

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organized and reliable
  • Work well independently or as part of a team
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Willingness to help out where needed and go the extra mile
  • Enthusiastic with a ‘can do’ attitude

Base Salary:

  • Temporary placements range from $30.00-$40.00+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Work Hours:

  • Work hours will vary depending on the assignment details and employers’ needs. This information will be confirmed at the time of your interview or offering of assignment(s).

Additional Notes:

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
