Join Fraser Health Authority as a Booking Clerk, Medical Imaging at Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre.

Salary: CAD $27.10 per hour

Job Summary

Fraser Health is responsible for hospital and community health services to over 1.9 million people in various communities. We are seeking a casual Booking Clerk to join our Medical Imaging team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre during an exciting time of service transfer back to Fraser Health.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and book patient appointments, coordinate with staff and physicians, and manage patient information accurately in our systems.
  • Act as a receptionist, providing excellent patient service, answering inquiries, and supporting the delivery of care.
  • Perform clerical duties including managing requisitions, locating patient records, and operating related equipment.
  • Assist with patient pre-registration, transportation arrangements, and staff orientation.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications

Education, Training, and Experience: Grade 12, with two years’ recent related experience or equivalent.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Keyboard at 40 wpm, knowledge of medical terminology, effective communication skills, organizational ability, and physical capability to perform duties.
