Work Schedule: 40 hours/week, 8 am - 4:30 pm

Responsibilities

* $10,000 Bonus Available for Full Time! *

Responsible for managing the quality and resources for all admitted patients, advocating for cost containment, and promoting seamless care delivery. Conduct holistic admission and concurrent reviews focusing on medical necessity, service intensity, and severity of illness.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  1. Minimum 5 years post-graduation experience from an accredited nursing school and a current RN license (starting April 1, 2015).
  2. Grandfathered prior to April 1, 2015: Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in social work; RN Case Manager preferred.
  3. Five years of acute care nursing experience preferred, with at least one year in case management, discharge planning, or nursing management.
  4. Current BCLS (AHA) certification preferred.
  5. Knowledge of Milliman and InterQual Criteria preferred.
  6. Proficiency in basic to intermediate computer skills.
  7. Behavioral Violence Prevention Training within 3 months of hire and maintained current.
