TELUS Health is seeking a Medical Imaging Technologist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Toronto Bay Street Care Centre. This is a Casual Part-Time position.

The successful candidate will support client-centered, team-based care by performing medical imaging procedures such as x-rays and bone density scans, practicing in accordance with TELUS Health’s vision and values, prioritizing client safety and experience.

What you’ll do

  • Perform medical imaging procedures according to prescriptions and protocols during business hours
  • Act as the Radiation Protection Officer
  • Perform daily Quality Assurance
  • Handle administrative tasks as needed, including:
    • Medical appointments
    • Registering patients
    • Providing procedural explanations, positioning, and scanning
    • Disinfecting environment
    • Participating in accreditation processes
    • Follow-up with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure excellent customer service
Qualifications

What you bring

  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiology program
  • Sonography certification and experience are assets
  • Current certification with CAMRT
  • Strong professional judgment, organization, and time management skills
  • Problem-solving skills with critical thinking and data analysis abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good computer knowledge
  • Experience operating GE Prodigy Bone Densitometry device is a strong asset

Salary Range: $24-$46 per hour
