Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Boiler Service Technician to wire, fire, and test boilers in the field and to perform startup and maintenance of customer equipment. Candidates should read schematics and have broad boiler controls knowledge including Honeywell, Fireye, and Siemens. A Class A Gas ticket is preferred.

Applicants should possess a mechanical and electrical background with strong troubleshooting abilities to handle diverse field conditions.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret wiring schematics and diagrams.
• Knowledge/experience with hot water heating systems and controls.
• Five years’ experience in electrical, control, and boiler field.
• Hold a Class A Gas ticket or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Wire, start up, and test boilers in the field.
• Maintain and service customer equipment and controls.
• Troubleshoot, fire, and adjust combustion for various boilers.
• Support internal and external projects; follow company policies.
