Qualifications

Bogie Warranty Engineer

Join us as a Bogie Warranty Engineering Team member (Flying doctor) and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in St-Bruno (QC), CA.

PURPOSE of THE JOB

  • Conducts & solves production or warranty issues, involving technical skills and engineering partners.
  • Manages the issue from the characterization phase to the Lessons Learned in order to integrate the Return of Experiments in the engineering standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor Problem Solving in coordination with all the project team members.
  • Manage problem solving actions by coordinating the actions of the relevant stakeholders in the project.
  • Collect the data to carve out the issue.
  • Show the first evidence to the Safety manager to consolidate the 8D Level.
  • Organize the expertise and communication support to the customer.
  • Propose containment solutions to secure and the way to introduce it.
  • Transfer the file to the PrEM to develop, if necessary, the definitive solution and Product Modification Order.
  • Consolidate the data to the Return of Experience Engineer.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

  • Mechanical Engineer degree or technical degree.
  • Awareness on Processes and Products delivered in the project; experience in Quality/audit are appreciated.
  • Bogie Technical knowledge.
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Rigor and Discipline.
  • Pragmatism.
  • Reactivity.

Job Location / Mobility:

  • Several trips a year to the customers' depots and offices.
