Body Shop Technician / Painter (Heavy Truck)

Bayview Trucks & Equipment Ltd. is a full-service dealer for Kenworth Trucks and KUBOTA farm and construction equipment. We are seeking a licensed Body Technician/Painter for our Saint John location. Key Responsibilities

• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Disassemble and reassemble truck body components and auto body equipment
• Apply single stage urethane and base coat/clear paint systems
• Identify and order parts needed for repairs (estimate jobs)
• Perform all levels of body work
• Paint vehicles as required
• Work effectively in a team and maintain a professional attitude
• Keep an organized workspace and follow company policies

Requirements

• Completion of a College certification as a Truck & Transport Body Mechanic (Red Seal)
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, complying with safety standards
• Clean driver’s abstract and criminal reference check
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows software
• Motivated, energetic, and proactive individuals are encouraged to apply
