Qualifications

• Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification preferred.
• Experience in Autobody Collision Repair is required.
• Valid Driver’s license and clean Driver’s Abstract necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality of workmanship, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Report mechanical or safety deficiencies not on the order.
• Follow OEM repair procedures and calibrate necessary modules.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking forAutobody Journeyman Techniciansto join our team atDilawri Collision Centre Calgaryas our location in currently expanding.The successful candidate is someonewho is passionate about the automotive industry and eager to contribute to our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high quality of workmanship, diagnostics and maintenance repair as per required standards.
• Report all mechanical or safety related deficiencies not noted on the repair order.
• Obtain and follow OEM repair procedures as well as pre and post-scan of all vehicles and calibrate modules as necessary.
• Possess and maintain a comprehensive understanding of vehicle systems and technology.

ABOUT YOU

• Journeyperson required or Red Seal Certification preferred.
• I-Car Platinum Status preferred.
• Autobody Collision Repair experience is required to be successful in this role.
• You are passionate about being at the forefront of the collision repair industry with an understanding of the material makeup and the ever-changing vehicle technology.
• Experience with Import, European or Luxury vehicles is an asset.
• You have a valid Driver’s license and provide a clean Driver’s Abstract.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75lbs) and equipment such as tires, tools and equipment.
• You have a growth mindset and are continuously innovating and developing your skills.
