Job summary

Velocity Autobody is seeking an Auto Body Technician to focus on cosmetic repairs for pre-owned vehicles. The role includes repairing minor vehicle damages and prepping cars for painting. Ideal candidates will have experience in cosmetic vehicle repairs, a keen attention to detail, and a valid driver's license.

• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Auto body painting experience is an asset.

Velocity Auto Body Inc. is a specialized cosmetic vehicle reconditioning facility and a proud member of Shift Auto Group. We provide expert body repair services for used vehicles from trusted dealers including Volvo Cars NB, ReCar, Fredericton Kia, Fredericton Mitsubishi, and St. Croix Auto.

Unlike traditional auto body shops, Velocity Auto Body focuses exclusively on light cosmetic repairs rather than large-scale insurance or customer-pay work. This allows us to deliver fast, efficient, and high-quality reconditioning tailored specifically for pre-owned vehicle inventory.

Auto Body Tech, in this role, you will be responsible for :

• Repair panels with dents, scratches, or small rust. This will include proper metal repairs and fill work when required. Sanding of body repairs made in order to get them smooth and ready for paint.
• As needed, removing and re-installing body panels, trim pieces, accessories, lights and other body items.
• Prepping vehicles for paint. This includes applying paper / tape / plastic to protect areas not to be painted.
• After vehicle is painted, removing paper / tape / plastic, and any post-paint buffing / wet-sanding.

Qualifications :

Experience in cosmetic vehicle repairs or auto body work

Auto body painting experience is an asset

Strong attention to detail and workmanship

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
