Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Moncton is looking for a Body Shop Paint Prepper.

This is an entry-level position, and no experience is necessary; we are willing to train. We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday. No weekends!

Responsibilities

  • Perform preliminary work to prepare trucks for finishing work
  • Prepare trucks for painting, which includes masking, sanding, and other necessary preparation work
  • Prepare and prime bodywork to the manufacturer's specifications for finishing
  • Restore or replace damaged panels as required to ensure the vehicle's structural integrity, function, and appearance

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school education completed or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and be able to provide a clean driver's abstract
  • Must be able to work individually and as part of a team
  • Able to use hand tools and power tools to remove or repair damaged parts, weld as needed, and properly install new parts
