Job summary

Destination Toyota Burnaby is seeking a Body Shop Helper to support daily operations in the repair facility. You will assist technicians, keep the shop tidy, and help move vehicles through the production process.

Responsibilities include cleaning, organization, and preparation for repairs, plus monitoring shop cleanliness and equipment maintenance. We welcome motivated team players with a valid BC driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, process driven and a team player.
• Able to follow directions from body shop staff as required.
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Valid BC Drivers Licence with a clean driving abstract.

Responsibilities

• Clean, organize, and maintain the repair facility.
• Assist technicians and prepare vehicles for repairs as needed.
• Move vehicles throughout the shop as part of the production process.
• Monitor general maintenance and cleaning of shop and equipment.
• Perform general duties as required.

Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, the Body Shop Helper will play an important role in supporting daily operations of the repair facility, including cleaning, organizing, assisting technicians, and moving vehicles throughout the shop.

What you’ll be doing:

• Cleaning, organization, and tidiness of repair facility.
• Provide assistance in preparation for vehicle repairs as needed.
• Vehicle movement throughout facility as part of production process.
• Monitor and act on general maintenance and cleaning of shop and equipment.
• General duties as required.

What we need from you:

• Be self-motivated, process driven and overall a team player!
• Can take direction from body shop production and process staff as required.
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Be willing to follow policies and procedures as outlined in the operation of the Fixed Operations Department.
• Valid BC Drivers License with a clean driving abstract.
