Qualifications

  • Prep vehicles for paint and perform small mechanical repairs.
  • Maintain a clean shop and work area.

Job description

Body Shop Assistant

Kieswetter Mazda/Kitchener Carstar is looking to add to our growing Bodyshop. As southwest Ontario's largest Mazda dealer and long term Carstar Bodyshop, our shop is always busy.

Qualifications:

  • Automotive experience in some form is an asset
  • Must hold a valid Ontario Driver's License
  • Detail oriented, and problem-solving skills
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Strong communication skills and computer literacy

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Body Technicians and Painters in repairing vehicles
  • Prepping vehicles for paint
  • Performing small mechanical repairs
  • Ensure the shop and work area is clean
  • Oppurtunity to grow into additional roles such as Vehicle Calibrations and Glass repair
  • Apprenticeshop is available moving forward

Wages and Hours:

  • Hourly Rate, negotiable based on experience
  • Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5:30pm
  • Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
