Key Responsibilities

• Technically operate a soundboard for various live, pre-taped and network talk radio programs
• Play commercials, promos, and talk show elements
• Screen phone calls for live talk programs
• Screen textboard and talkback recordings
• Upload audio to websites with written descriptions
• Upload audio for podcasts with written descriptions
• Edit talk show programs and podcasts for playback
• Other duties as assigned

Critical Qualifications

• Minimum one year of radio broadcasting instruction at an accredited college or university, or work-related experience
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with radio studio sound boards
• Ability to handle yourself professionally in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Wide Orbit, BURLI and VOXPRO
