Position : Board of Directors Member

We are excited to announce an opportunity to join The Centre for Dreams as a member of our Board of Directors. About Our Board :

Our not-for-profit volunteer-run board is focused on governance and stewardship as we are entering into a high growth period. We are specifically looking for individuals with expertise in Law, Commercial Real Estate and Fundraising.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborating with fellow board members to set strategic goals and objectives
• Providing guidance on organizational policies and practices
• Contributing your expertise to fundraising efforts and resource mobilization
• Contributing a financial donation monthly
• Attending and participating in 75% of regular board meetings, committee meetings and discussions
• Advocating for the organization's mission and values in the community
• Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards

Qualifications :

• Experience in non-profit governance, community engagement, business, finance, law, marketing, or related fields
• A track record of leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Willingness to actively contribute time and energy to board responsibilities
