As Machine Operator working in blending and dispensing, you’ll play a key role in the production process of making nutritional supplements, ensuring materials are blended and dispensed accurately and efficiently. This is a physically demanding role that requires lifting, moving materials, and standing for long periods while operating various production machines. You will be working both independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and physical stamina.

This position at level 1 pays: $22.36 - $25.48/hour

Shift Options: Sunday to Thursday 10:15pm-6:15am; Monday to Friday 2:15pm-10:15pm

This position requires you to work at both our Pitt Meadows and Coquitlam facilities. Please note that the Pitt Meadows facility has limited access to public transportation, so having a personal vehicle is preferred.

This position also requires you to be clean-shaven (no facial hair) to ensure a proper respirator fit and to comply with safety protocols, including WorkSafeBC regulations.

A Day in The Life of A Blending and Dispensing Machine Operator:

• Operate and set up blending machines, power sieve, Fitzmill, and walkie stacker independently and as part of a team.
• Perform pre-production checks to ensure everything is ready for the blending process.
• Load materials onto the power sieve, screen them into the blending machine, and pre-mix materials as needed.
• Counter-check materials to ensure accuracy and follow mixing procedures to achieve a uniform blend.
• Unload blended powder into 55-gallon barrels and deliver them to the warehouse for storage.
• Maintain a clean and organized blending room and equipment, ensuring proper line clearance between products.
• Assist other machine operators as required.

• The ability to demonstrate safely working in a physically demanding environment where lifting up to 50lbs is a common occurrence.
• Mechanical experience, safely operating and setting up machines while using a diverse selection of hand tools.
• A cooperative, positive and willing attitude, all while keeping good communication and behavior with co-workers and management.
