Job summary

ASCEND Online, operated by the Catholic Independent Schools of the Kamloops Diocese, seeks a part-time Certified Education Assistant (CEA) for a blended learning classroom in Kelowna, 5 hours per week for the 2026-2027 school year, starting immediately.

The CEA supports individual students under the direction of the classroom teacher and helps with academics and Inclusive Education services. Catholic faith values are integrated into school life.

Qualifications

• Provides individual student support under teacher direction.
• Assists with program delivery in a blended learning classroom.
• Supports high school students in academics and Inclusive Ed as directed by the teacher.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site teacher in a blended learning classroom.
• Assist with academic tasks and Inclusive Ed support for high school students.
• Participate in the school educational support team as a CEA.
