Job Duties

• Under general supervision, this position is responsible for overseeing the blending and manufacturing of finished products, including quality tests, proper documentation, packaging, and stocking of finished products, while maintaining awareness of environmental and health safety.
• This position ensures all HMS processes are followed.
• Coordinates shipping and receiving of finished products and raw materials, maintains quality control, and documents received products. Understands D.O.T. regulations for shipping and prepares proper paperwork, loading trucks accordingly.
• Responsible for training new plant operators on responsibilities, functions, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Provides general direction and supervision to other plant operators and may lead scheduling activities.
• Acts as a primary communication link between plant operators and management, monitoring inventory control measures and reporting issues to management.
• Participates in the on-call rotation for after-hours deliveries, receiving additional compensation for on-call hours.
• Manages multiple tasks, coordinates logistics and deliveries, and oversees material blending processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 5-6 years of experience and forklift certification required.
• Job tasks, when performed correctly, impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations indirectly.
• Previous warehousing experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.) required.
• Ability to travel and work offsite for up to 3 days as needed.
