Job description

We’re looking for experienced BizTalk Integration Developers to support a high-volume, public sector integration team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure data exchanges between systems across multiple government departments. This role involves working with a resilient Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) platform built on Microsoft BizTalk Server and will focus primarily on non-healthcare integration projects using SOAP / REST services, file / FTP transfers, database interactions, and secure authentication mechanisms. You’ll play a key role in delivering end-to-end integration solutions—supporting activities such as requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and documentation. Ideal candidates will bring 3+ years of BizTalk Server experience (2013 / 2016 / 2020), solid skills in C#, .NET, XML, and XSLT, and a track record of collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders. Experience with HL7 v2x, Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management), or iPaaS migrations is a strong asset. Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying system integrations using Microsoft BizTalk Server
• Collaborating with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Creating and maintaining documentation for integration solutions
• Supporting and troubleshooting integration issues to ensure high system availability
• Implementing integrations using APIs, file / FTP transfers, databases, and secure authentication methods
• Participating in both project-based and operational tasks as needed
• Aligning with team standards and contributing to knowledge transfer and solution reviews

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of IM / IT experience, with at least 3 years developing solutions with Microsoft BizTalk Server (2013, 2016, or 2020)
• Strong skills in C#, .NET, XML, and XSLT
• Experience with integration methods such as APIs (SOAP / REST), file / FTP, databases, and authentication mechanisms
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Experience engaging with business and technical stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements

Assets :

• Experience with HL7 v2x, Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management), or migrating BizTalk solutions to iPaaS platforms
