Talencore is seeking a Lab Technician for a part-time role in London, Ontario. You will perform routine microbial QC, support research experiments, and help maintain lab records in a collaborative startup environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or a related life-science discipline.
• Hands-on laboratory experience; experience with microbial culture, aseptic handling, plating, or enumeration is strongly preferred.
• Comfort following established laboratory and research protocols carefully and consistently.
• Strong attention to detail, with accurate documentation, measurement, and data-recording skills.
• Reliable and organized, with clear communication and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Interest in agriculture, plants, soil, environmental science, microbiology, and biological technologies; ability to work onsite at Western University campus (London, ON).

Responsibilities

• Execute routine microbial QC and maintain QA records.
• Support research experiments and assist with data collection and reporting.
• Coordinate day-to-day lab activities and ensure safety and SOP compliance.
