Niagara Health is looking for a Biomedical Technologist to join their team in St. Catharines, Ontario. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical knowledge and skills to provide medical device services across various sites. HOURS OF WORK: 75 HOURS PER PAY PERIOD
UNION: ONTARIO PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYEE'S UNION
WAGE RANGE: $36.84 to $50.24 per hour
Reporting to the Manager of Biomedical Engineering, the Biomedical Technologist will demonstrate the technical knowledge and skills required to achieve customer focused medical device service objectives within an integrated multi-site health care system. Working within a team environment, the Biomedical Technologist will provide high quality technical services including day to day repair and maintenance of medical devices, inspections, preventative maintenance, advice to clinical users at the various sites of Niagara Health and regional on-call for emergency service after hours. The incumbent will follow the CMBES Standards of Practice in a certified peer reviewed environment. HIS responsibilities as assigned. The successful incumbent must be able to travel between all sites of Niagara Health if required.
