Job summary

Dawson College in Montreal invites applications for a teaching-focused role in the health sciences department. The successful candidate will balance regular teaching responsibilities with involvement in departmental activities and college-wide pedagogical initiatives.

Requirements include a B.Sc. in a related field, four years hospital/clinical experience, and strong English communication skills; French knowledge is an asset.

Qualifications

• CSMLS general certification recommended; OPTMQ membership asset.
• B.Sc. in a related field or equivalent
• Four (4) years relevant hospital and / or clinical experience
• Teaching experience at the college level an asset
• Excellent English communication skills essential
• General knowledge of French is an asset.
• Expertise in at least two of the sub-disciplines listed below: Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Microbiology, Hematology and Hemostasis, Histopathology and Techniques, Transfusion Science
• This may include recent clinical work experience, post DEC education or a Department sanctioned test.
