Job summary

Borealis-Biosciences, Inc. seeks a Biomarker & Bioanalytical Development Lead to own the bioanalytical and biomarker strategy across our RNA therapeutics portfolio.

This senior scientist will design, build, and oversee assays that measure drug exposure, target engagement, pharmacodynamics, and safety for IND-enabling nonclinical and early clinical development. The role focuses on preparing for Phase 1/2 trials, including development and transfer of regulated PK assays, selection and oversight of

Qualifications

• PhD with 10+ years in biotech/pharma.
• Experience in regulated bioanalytical environments (GLP/GCLP/CLIA).
• Proven leadership of outsourced bioanalytical and biomarker work.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the bioanalytical strategy for RNA therapeutics from discovery to clinical development.
• Lead development of assays to quantify oligonucleotide therapeutics in plasma, urine, and tissues.
• Own outsourcing strategy and oversight of CROs and laboratories; ensure data integrity and audit readiness.
• Build and mentor the Biomarker & Bioanalytical team as the program grows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive IND-enabling studies and early clinical development.
