Environmental Scientist / Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist or Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating environmental programs, projects, and studies, including permitting and approvals at various government levels, and supporting stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate programs, projects, and technical studies related to the natural environment.
- Lead permitting and approval activities at local, provincial, and federal levels, ensuring compliance with legislation such as the Endangered Species Act, Species at Risk Act, and Fisheries Act.
- Scope, plan, develop, and implement field programs.
- Oversee project team members, including natural scientists and technical staff.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary projects and support stakeholder engagement.
- Travel for business purposes as needed.
Business Development
- Assist in preparing project proposals and maintaining client relationships.
- Liaise with clients, government agencies, sub-consultants, and community representatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, or related Environmental Sciences.
- Proven experience in environmental consulting and project management.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in Environmental Sciences.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations.
- Experience managing land development and EA projects, including regulatory applications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
