Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Process Development Technician, Biologics, to operate fermentation and purification equipment in development labs at BIOVECTRA’s Charlottetown site, part of Agilent. The role supports scientists and pilots, with rotating shifts and potential GMP involvement.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education required.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Must be able to lift 20 kg.
• Respirator use is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate fermentation and purification equipment in process development labs.
• Assist scientists during hands-on development activities.
• Support GMP cell banking and pilot plant work as needed.
• Help write SOPs and perform data entry.
• Maintain lab organization, 5S, and calibration of equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting ongoing experiments.
