Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program with a 3.0 GPA minimum.
• Two consecutive four-month terms (8 months total) for co-op.
• Must not be employed during the internship start.
• Degree concentration in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Previous lab experience, or prior co-op/internship, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply basic and modern lab techniques (e.g. tissue culture, flow cytometry, imaging, automation).
• Participate in development of novel experiments and methods.
• Utilize advanced lab instruments and systems for experiments.
• Apply knowledge from literature to experimental design.
• Design, execute, and document experiments with good record keeping.
