The Biological Innovation Manager will act as the expert / primary technical contact for both Corteva biological products and industry-wide solutions, aiding in our mission to provide best-in-class support for customers within the assigned geography. The individual must display strong enthusiasm for agronomic innovation, helping customers succeed through well established relationships and effectively managing change to be successful within the role. Specific interest in the biological field of agriculture will be considered an asset. If hired, you will be required to travel as necessary to support business activities. Candidate should reside within the territory.

Territory : Quebec. The selected candidate must be fluent in French and can have a conversation in English

What You'll Do

Business Acumen & Demand Generation : the primary focus of this new role.

• Engage with growers and Certified biological sellers to demonstrate the value and benefits of Corteva's product range, increasing product adoption and customer loyalty.
• Build and execute on a 1–3-year growth plan and supporting tactics for your territory.
• Coach effective relationship-building, sales tactics, and negotiations through on-farm sales calls with Certified biological sellers for both existing customers and prospects.
• Serve as a role model, teacher, and coach to Certified biological sellers to develop skills and knowledge required to provide an exceptional customer experience and deliver results.
• Advocate for breakthrough ideas and solutions up and down the chain of command.
• Manage new product introductions within the region in compliance with marketing strategies and objectives.
• Set and manage sales targets, discounts, and growth plans with each Certified biological sellers for key customers and prospects.
• Anticipate market opportunities and threats, and position your sales team to react, adapt and overcome.

Technical Agronomic Support : Provide in-depth technical guidance on Corteva’s biological products, including application methods, efficacy, and safety protocols. Tailor agronomic advice and product positioning to specific regional challenges and crop needs.

Market Insights : Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and competitive products. Use this knowledge to position Corteva’s offerings strategically in the market.

Forecasting collaboration : Assist business partners in forecasting product demand accurately and developing strategic business plans. Serve as a technical liaison in client discussions and presentations.

Educational Initiatives : Present content at grower meetings, field days, and seminars to educate the agricultural community on product innovations, best practices, agronomic strategies and sustainable farming techniques.

Customer Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, becoming a trusted advisor that clients rely on for expert advice and support. Ensure regular customer contact to capture insights for Corteva’s product management team and deliver timely information.

Business Development : Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of Corteva’s market share in the region. Regularly report on market activities, customer feedback, and field results to the Field Specialist Leader and other stakeholders.

Respect for People : Engage in respectful communication and collaboration with team members, clients, and community stakeholders. Lead by example in creating a positive work environment where all employees feel valued and empowered.

What You'll Need

B.S. Agriculture / Business / Marketing or related field preferred.

Extensive experience in agronomy, crop protection, business and sales acumen and demand generation.

Deep knowledge of the agricultural sector in Eastern Canada, including specific challenges and opportunities.

Strong analytical skills to evaluate market data and industry trends.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the business and with customers.

Ability to travel extensively within the territory.

Responsable de l’Innovation en Produits Biologiques

En tant que Responsable de l’Innovation en Produits Biologiques, vous serez la référence technique principale pour les solutions biologiques de Corteva ainsi que pour les pratiques reconnues dans le secteur. Vous contribuerez directement à notre mission de fournir un accompagnement de haut niveau à nos clients dans la région assignée. Ce rôle exige une passion sincère pour l’innovation agronomique, une capacité à établir des relations solides avec les partenaires et à accompagner le changement de manière proactive. Un intérêt marqué pour l’agriculture biologique sera considéré comme un atout. Le poste implique des déplacements réguliers, et il est essentiel de résider dans le territoire couvert.

Vos Responsabilités

Développement commercial et stimulation de la demande (axe principal du poste) :

Rencontrer les producteurs et les distributeurs certifiés de produits biologiques afin de mettre en valeur les bénéfices des solutions Corteva, et ainsi favoriser leur adoption et la fidélisation des clients.

Élaborer et mettre en œuvre un plan de croissance sur 1 à 3 ans, accompagné de tactiques concrètes adaptées à votre secteur.

Accompagner les distributeurs lors de visites terrain pour renforcer leurs compétences en vente, en négociation et en gestion de la relation client.

Agir en tant que mentor et coach pour les distributeurs, en les aidant à développer les compétences nécessaires pour offrir une expérience client de qualité et atteindre leurs objectifs.

Être force de proposition et faire circuler les idées innovantes au sein de l’organisation.

Piloter les lancements de nouveaux produits dans la région, en accord avec les orientations marketing.

Fixer des objectifs de vente et des plans de croissance individualisés pour chaque distributeur stratégique.

Anticiper les évolutions du marché et adapter les actions commerciales en conséquence.

Soutien Technique Agronomique

Apporter une expertise technique approfondie sur les produits biologiques Corteva : méthodes d’application, efficacité, protocoles de sécurité. Adapter les recommandations techniques aux réalités locales et aux cultures spécifiques de la région.

Veille De Marché

Suivre de près les tendances du secteur et l’évolution des offres concurrentes, afin de positionner efficacement les solutions Corteva sur le marché.

Planification Et Prévisions

Collaborer avec les partenaires d’affaires pour établir des prévisions précises de la demande et contribuer à la planification stratégique. Représenter l’expertise technique lors des échanges avec les clients.

Formation Et Sensibilisation

Animer des rencontres avec les producteurs, des démonstrations aux champs et des séminaires pour promouvoir les innovations produits, les bonnes pratiques agronomiques et les approches durables.

Gestion De La Relation Client

Créer et entretenir des relations solides avec les clients en devenant un conseiller de confiance. Assurer un suivi régulier pour remonter les besoins et retours terrain à l’équipe marketing et produits.

Développement Des Affaires

Identifier de nouvelles opportunités de croissance et contribuer à renforcer la position de Corteva sur le marché régional. Fournir des rapports réguliers sur les activités terrain, les tendances du marché et les résultats obtenus.

Leadership Et Collaboration

Profil Recherché

Diplôme universitaire en agriculture, commerce, marketing ou dans un domaine connexe (baccalauréat souhaité).

Expérience significative en agronomie, en protection des cultures, en développement commercial et en stimulation de la demande.

Excellente connaissance du secteur agricole dans l’Est du Canada, ainsi que des enjeux et opportunités spécifiques à la région.

Capacité d’analyse pour interpréter les données de marché et identifier les tendances clés.

Aisance relationnelle et excellente communication, avec la capacité de mobiliser différents interlocuteurs, internes comme externes.

Grande disponibilité pour des déplacements fréquents dans la région.
