We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to oversee our production operations and drive efficiency in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
  • As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our manufacturing operations to ensure the timely production of high-quality products.
  • Lead a team of production staff, implement process improvements, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including scheduling, production planning, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production supervisors and operators to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, quality control, and logistics, to resolve production issues and improve product quality.
  • Monitor production metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure the availability of materials and resources to support production schedules.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
  • Support the company\'s core values regarding safety, teamwork and value creation for One Acadian, our customers, our communities, and the planet.
Qualifications / Competencies
  • Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to provide after-hours and weekend support.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices, including lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven approach to process improvement.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and ERP systems to manage production operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive results.
