The Production Manager, reporting directly to the Plant Manager, will be responsible for overseeing our small production team, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining safe working procedures, company policies, and protocols.*Compensation and Benefits: *At Airfoam Industries, we believe that investing in our employees is essential to our success. We are proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive compensation package, including:* A competitive base salary of $75,000 - $85,000 based on qualifications and experience* Company-paid benefits package (vision, dental, medical, LTD, life insurance, etc.)* Employer-paid RRSP program* Quarterly incentive program* Year-end bonus* Paid vacation time + 5 paid sick/personal days per year*Shift Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm*Duties:** *Production Leadership*: Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, overseeing supply chain and daily operations to ensure the achievement of production goals.* *Production Planning & Execution*: Lead the development and execution of production planning and scheduling in collaboration with leadership and key stakeholders.* *Work Order Management*: Create, monitor, and manage production work orders across all shifts, ensuring team leads accurately transact production records.* *Quality & Performance Monitoring*: Establish measurable goals for all aspects of operations, including product quality, on-time delivery, and productivity, to meet or exceed operational objectives.* *Continuous Improvement:* Drive continuous improvement by analyzing current procedures, identify opportunities for Quality and other improvements, and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement new standard operating procedures as needed.* *KPI Tracking and Reporting:* Review and report on production performance to the plant manager as required to ensure operational compliance to listed KPI?s.* *Team Leadership & Development*: Train, monitor, and assess production team members, providing coaching and guidance, to support performance and development goals.* *Safety & Compliance:* Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures, actively participating in safety assessments, and hazard analyses. Ensure that safety standards comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements, and address employee issues promptly, escalating to the Plant Manager when necessary.* *Other Duties*: Perform other job-related duties and special projects, as assigned.*Qualifications:** Grade 12 or equivalent education.* 4th Class Power Engineering certification (preferred)* Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing), including production and technical reporting.* Minimum of 5 years of experience operating production machinery.* 3+ years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role.* Knowledge of provincial regulations, including Employment Standards and provincial safety regulations.* Strong results orientation and continuous improvement mindset.* Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making skills.* Experience in a culturally diverse work environment.* Proficiency in mathematics and computer skills (Windows, Office 2000, Outlook).* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and work with integrity.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Knowledge of EMS (Environme
