The Production Manager, reporting directly to the Plant Manager, will be responsible for overseeing our small production team, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining safe working procedures, company policies, and protocols.*Compensation and Benefits: *At Airfoam Industries, we believe that investing in our employees is essential to our success. We are proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive compensation package, including:* A competitive base salary of $75,000 - $85,000 based on qualifications and experience* Company-paid benefits package (vision, dental, medical, LTD, life insurance, etc.)* Employer-paid RRSP program* Quarterly incentive program* Year-end bonus* Paid vacation time + 5 paid sick/personal days per year*Shift Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm*Duties:** *Production Leadership*: Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, overseeing supply chain and daily operations to ensure the achievement of production goals.* *Production Planning & Execution*: Lead the development and execution of production planning and scheduling in collaboration with leadership and key stakeholders.* *Work Order Management*: Create, monitor, and manage production work orders across all shifts, ensuring team leads accurately transact production records.* *Quality & Performance Monitoring*: Establish measurable goals for all aspects of operations, including product quality, on-time delivery, and productivity, to meet or exceed operational objectives.* *Continuous Improvement:* Drive continuous improvement by analyzing current procedures, identify opportunities for Quality and other improvements, and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement new standard operating procedures as needed.* *KPI Tracking and Reporting:* Review and report on production performance to the plant manager as required to ensure operational compliance to listed KPI?s.* *Team Leadership & Development*: Train, monitor, and assess production team members, providing coaching and guidance, to support performance and development goals.* *Safety & Compliance:* Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures, actively participating in safety assessments, and hazard analyses.
