  • Test new microfluidics printheads and printer accessories to enable processing of new biomaterials.
  • Prepare and process cells and biomaterials for bioprinting tissue development studies.
  • Perform morphometric, mechanical, and stability tests to characterize new bioprinted tissue implants.
  • Perform in vitro assays to characterize bioprinted tissue health and function, including ML training, cell viability staining, and ELISA techniques.
  • Create experimental reports and present experiments to key stakeholders.
  • Rigorously document all work, following documentation standards.
  • Become an expert user of Aspect’s microfluidic bioprinting technology.

Qualifications

  • Education: Student enrolled in biomedical engineering, cell biology or similar program.
  • Development Experience: You have good physics or mechanical engineering experience with an interest in microfluidics and 3D printing. You are familiar with cell biology techniques and principles.
  • Technical Skill Set: Wet lab work, 3D printing, documentation/report writing, cell culture.
