BINS4 Shredding - Modifications / Warehouse Associate – Picker / Packer

Location: BARRIE, ON

Salary: $20.70 - $22.75 CAD per hour

Position: Modifications Specialist – BINS4 Shredding Inc.

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

About BINS4 Shredding :

BINS4 Shredding Inc. is a leader in innovative document destruction solutions, specializing in high-quality bins and containers to enhance shredding operations across North America.

Position Overview :

As a Modifications Specialist, you will assemble, upgrade, and modify shredding containers and accessories. You will work closely with production and operations teams to ensure all modifications meet client specifications, quality standards, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Perform modifications on bins, carts, and other shredding products based on customer requirements.
  • Install or assemble components such as locks, casters, and panels.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and accurately.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to improve modification processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Track and report completed modifications for inventory and workflow management.
  • Load and unload trucks using jacks or forklifts when necessary.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE.
Qualifications & Skills :
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related hands-on roles.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders or specifications.
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy materials.
