Job summary

A community support organization in Ontario seeks volunteers for charity bingo sessions. Volunteers will assist by attending scheduled events to help raise funds. Training, including online cGaming Volunteer Training, is provided, and a commitment of 2 hours monthly or bi-weekly is required. Reference checks are needed, and individuals over the age of majority are encouraged to apply.

To help us raise much-needed funds through designated charity bingo sessions on our behalf.

Description

What you’ll be doing

We need volunteers to attend assigned charity bingo sessions on our behalf to allow us to earn much needed funds. There are scheduled sessions during the week and on weekends. After completing orientation, training and an online cGaming Volunteer Training from Ontario Charitable Gaming Association, we ask for a commitment to 2 hours monthly or bi-weekly bingo sessions that work with your schedule. We are typically assigned 2 bingo sessions per month that would be split amongst our volunteers. Bingo sessions are held at Delta Bingo in St. Catharines.

Training Requirements
  • Orientation to agency, Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region programs, policies, and procedures
  • Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities, WHMIS
  • Online cGaming Volunteer Training from Ontario Charitable Gaming Association
