Job description

A top mechanical contractor is seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator / Modeler to join their growing team. In this role, you will use your Skills in REVIT, Navisworks Manage, ACC, BIM 360, and Procore to ensure seamless coordination across multidisciplinary 3D models during the construction phase of a project.

Qualifications:

- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Procore.

- 2-3 years of BIM coordination experience on complex projects is an advantage.

- A solid grasp of BIM processes and standards

Tasks:

As a BIM Coordinator / Modeler, you will be responsible for:

- Report to the BIM Manager

- Reviewing shop drawings,

- Generate REVIT families based on reviewed shop drawings,

- Model mechanical services (HVAC, P&D, Hydronic Piping),

- Coordinate mechanical services with other trades to reach a clash free model,

- Issue installation, sleeving and pre-fab drawings.

- Attend construction BIM meetings with GC, sub-trade and other trades.

- Adhere to LOD and LOI of the project including BIM Execution Plans.

- Review incoming and outgoing information to ensure proper exchange in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).

- Maintain proper paper and electronic job files

- Ensure all client correspondence is on time and completed.

-Assist with timely completion of project closeout requirements including O& M Manuals and “As Built” drawings (Red line to CADD).
