Job description

Our client is a well-established law firm seeking a Billing Clerk to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, supportive, and close-knit environment that values professionalism and respect. After three months, the firm offers a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in the office, along with excellent benefits and an RRSP matching program.

This role reports to the Accountant and Office Manager and responsible for all billing-related matters. You will work closely with lawyers and legal assistants on the billing process and invoicing. You will be the point-of-contact for all billing-related inquiries internally and externally. You will be the expert of their e-billing platform.

Job Requirements :

  • Minimum 3+ years of billing experience
  • Experience from a law firm or similar professional services industries would be an asset
  • Experience with an e-billing platform
  • Prolaw software experience would be an asset
  • Experience working with MS Office and proficient with Excel
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and must be a self-starter
  • Organized and attention to detail
