Overview

This is a hybrid position where you are expected to work at our Nanaimo (Vancouver Island) office in-person for periods of time.

REW is looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to join our high tech, high performing team, who will provide their administrative expertise and ‘can do’ attitude to support all areas of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process orders
  • Review daily invoice and payment runs
  • Contract renewals management
  • Maintain accounts receivables, arrears communications, chargebacks, and forward accounts to collections
  • Project creation, resourcing, reporting and status updates
  • Month end reconciliations and reports
  • Client Database management
  • Process and support change requests (ie: domain name changes, compliance requirements) and administrate board agreements with REW MLS board partners and clients
  • Ensure confidentiality and privacy is maintained with regards to exposure to sensitive business and client information
  • Partnering with stakeholders to ensure client and REW success is always a priority
  • Provide administrative and special project support as required
  • Maintain knowledge-based user guides to support self-help resources
  • Provide professional and timely support for issues related to Board inquiries
  • Backup accounts payable as required
Qualifications That Will Help To Have For This Role
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a billing or admin heavy role
  • Proficient in Microsoft and/or Google suite, with spreadsheet specialization
  • Excellent communication skills, and can create clear, concise, and engaging responses
  • Exhibit patience and empathy when providing support

  • Flexibility around scheduling and managing workload
