Aviso is seeking a Bilingual Supervisor, Transfers to join the Operations team in Toronto. You will lead the Transfers Team, manage volumes, and ensure daily deadlines are met.

Responsibilities include recruiting, training, coaching, mentoring, onboarding, and scheduling staff while upholding high service and compliance standards. Qualifications

• Post-secondary education related to the Investment Industry.
• IFIC and/or CSC completion is an asset.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in the investment industry, with 1–2 years in supervision.
• Excellent delegation, organizational, time management and administrative skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with multitasking ability.
• Superior customer service with problem resolution.
• Motivated and results-driven.
• MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access; advanced Excel is an asset.
• Fluent communication in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Transfers team and manage volumes to meet daily deadlines.
• Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and schedule staff; onboard new employees.
• Set and maintain departmental SLAs and standard procedures.
• Provide effective internal/external communications and liaise with vendors and trustees.
• Analyze business practices, identify improvements, and implement streamlined workflows.
• Handle departmental projects and support escalated customer inquiries.
• Ensure staffing, training, and cross-training for redundancy across positions.
• Review daily journal postings and monthly reconciliations (IIROC/MFDA).
• Prepare monthly SLA reports and assist with resource planning for high volumes.
• Stay current on MFDA/IIROC rules and registered plans products.
