Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in completing their tax returns using TurboTax products, providing guidance and reviewing their self-prepared returns.
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find accurate answers and explain tax concepts in understandable terms.
• Interact with clients via advanced video communication tools, documenting interactions for accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years paid professional experience in tax preparation.
• Ability to provide CRA RepID for client representation services.
• Experience with professional tax software for personal and complex returns, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, T1135 forms, foreign income, and credits/deductions.
• Passion for helping clients navigate tax complexities and improving customer satisfaction.
• Excellent customer service skills, confident in video and audio communication.
• Flexible schedule with at least 20 hours/week availability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with corporate (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

• Problem-solving skills, ability to leverage tools and escalate issues when necessary.

• Technical aptitude for using and troubleshooting relevant tools.

Compensation:

Competitive pay ranging from $24.50 to $33.50 per hour depending on location, plus potential bonuses, stock rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on experience, skills, and location, with ongoing pay equity assessments.

How You Will Lead:

• Assist clients in filling out their income tax returns using TurboTax, providing advice and reviewing self-prepared returns.
• Use government resources and team expertise to deliver accurate, understandable answers.
• Engage with clients virtually via video, maintaining detailed records of interactions.
