Responsibilities

• Help clients complete their income tax returns using TurboImpôt products.
• Provide tax advice and review personal tax returns for clients preparing their own returns.
• Prepare complete tax returns and manage product/software inquiries.
• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find accurate answers.
• Interact with clients via advanced video communication tools and document interactions for record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide CRA RepID for client representation services.
• Experience with complex personal tax returns, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and credits.
• Strong customer service skills, professional communication, and a flexible schedule of at least 20 hours per week.
• Experience in preparing Business (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns is an asset.
• Understanding of tax laws, effective communication, problem-solving, resourcefulness, and basic technical troubleshooting skills.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive hourly pay based on location and experience, with potential bonuses, equity rewards, and social benefits. Pay ranges from $24.50 to $33.50 per hour depending on the region. Regular pay equity assessments are conducted.
