What you'll bring

• Minimum of two (2) years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide your CRA RepID for client representation services during onboarding.
• Experience with professional tax software for personal tax returns, including complex elements like employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, T1135 forms, foreign income, credits, and deductions.
• Passion for helping clients navigate taxation complexities and commitment to enhancing our brand by delighting customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes.
• Excellent customer service skills and comfort interacting via video and audio tools professionally and confidently.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule with at least 20 hours per week.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience preparing Business Tax (T2) Returns.

• Tax expertise with a good understanding of laws and concepts; proactive in learning and staying updated annually.
• Effective communication skills, active listening, and empathy in client interactions.
• Ability to understand customer issues, utilize tools and resources, and escalate when necessary.

Intuit offers a competitive pay structure based on performance, with an hourly range of $24.50 to $33.50 depending on location (PEI, BC, Nova Scotia). Benefits include bonuses, equity rewards, and social benefits, with pay equity practices ensuring fairness across categories.
