Responsibilities

  • Help clients complete their tax returns using TurboImpôt products, providing guidance and reviewing their submissions.
  • Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find accurate answers for clients.
  • Interact with clients via video and audio communication tools in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Document interactions accurately to maintain proper records.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
  • Ability to provide CRA RepID for client representation services.
  • Experience with complex personal tax returns, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and credits.
  • Excellent customer service skills and willingness to work a flexible schedule of at least 20 hours per week.
  • Additional Assets

  • Experience preparing Business Tax (T2) and Quebec Tax (TP1) returns.
  • Skills & Abilities

  • Understanding of tax laws and concepts, with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and resolve complex customer issues.
  • Resourcefulness and curiosity to learn new tools and procedures.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills with relevant tools.
