Job description

The primary role of the Bilingual Task Manager is the setup, maintenance and management of Group Benefits plans across claims, billing & administration platforms, as well as the Plan Administrator and Plan Member Group Benefits website.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Set up new client implementations and amendments for Small Business and Mid-Market clients.
  2. Translate contractual language for plan sponsor contracts and member booklets.
  3. Identify and drive documentation and process improvements using Lean methodology.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams in Implementation and Regional Group Offices to ensure accurate plan design for successful plan implementation and amendments.
  5. Use the Groups Benefits experience to determine that the proposed structure can be accommodated on the various admin systems.
  6. Ensure Service Level Agreements are met and provide same-day coding for rushes to ensure service excellence.
  7. Assemble and verify contract and booklet language to ensure Plan Sponsor documents are accurate for both new issues and amendments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (French & English) is required - The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients inside and outside of Quebec.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of Group Benefits systems and processes, and demonstrate the ability to effectively manage related tasks and challenges.
  • Exhibit expertise in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading projects from inception to completion while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in responding to challenges, with an ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
  • Show strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively, understanding the diverse needs of plan sponsors, advisors, members, and operational departments.
  • Maintain a positive, confident, and resilient attitude, with an additional advantage of knowing legal contract language and limitations.
