Job summary

Staples Canada is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Fluently bilingual (French and English) and experienced in recruitment will manage the full lifecycle for roles across retail, fulfillment, and services. You will partner with internal teams, post job ads, screen candidates, and guide offers through to closing.

The role emphasizes building strong candidate networks, innovative sourcing, and continuous collaboration with the recruiting team to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• University degree or post-secondary education required.
• HR certificate/degree in progress or willingness to enroll.
• Desire to grow professionally with networking and ongoing training opportunities.
• Must be fluently bilingual in French and English.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of MS Office, databases, and internet search.
• Familiarity with job boards and HR software/databases.
• Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (phone, video).
• 2-3 years of recruitment experience.
• Retail or multi-unit experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Work with internal management to understand hiring needs and job specifications.
• Develop and release job postings on platforms and social networks.
• Screen resumes and prospects, interview, and manage candidates through offers.
• Follow up on interview status and update records in the internal database.
• Grow and foster relationships with a pool of qualified active and passive talent.
• Partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design and implement sourcing strategies.
• Stay active with job boards and networks to source talent and publish descriptions.
