We are looking for a summer student to join our team in the role of Pharmacovigilance (PV) Assistant.

The PV Assistant is responsible for assisting in the administrative PV / QA tasks as required and will report to the Associate Pharmacovigilance Manager.

How you will make an impact

  • Responsible for assisting in the collection processing reporting and reconciliation of adverse events (AEs);
  • Help conduct Pharmacovigilance compliance activities;
  • Maintaining high compliance standards in regards to reporting timelines quality of reporting and responding to inquiries from stakeholders; and
  • Accountable for recognizing triaging and reporting as per the program or manufacturer requirements.

What youll bring to our team

  • Postsecondary education in Health Science or other health care related field;
  • Bilingualism in English & French is a requirement for this role;
  • Experience in Pharmacovigilance / Medical Information / Adverse Event Reporting / Safety Case Processing experience and / or Regulatory or QA is an asset
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated prioritization skills and ability to multitask to meet tight deadlines;
  • Comfortable working with computers and technology specifically the Microsoft Office suite of products.

Job Status : Summer employment. You must be currently enrolled in a post secondary institution and returning in the fall of 2025.

Hours : 9 : 00am 5 : 00pm and occasional shift rotation may be required (8 : 00am 4 : 00pm or 10 : 00am 6 : 00pm)
